December 15, 2020 - ‘Think big but stay humble' is the motto of our association. Initially we had plans to start with 10 outdoor courts but, in consultation with our sportive partner s.v. C.H.C., our goal is to start with 16 outdoor courts with LED lightning. It must all happen in 2021 ... 😊

December 12, 2020 - We wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2021. Hopefully it will be a year in which we can see and hug each other again without having to think about it! 😊 #staysafestayathome
November 4, 2020 - The 2-week period in which one could object to the affiliation of our association to the Dutch Pétanque Association (NJBB) is over. The NJBB has not received any objections and from today Pétanque Union Bois le Duc is officially affiliated with the NJBB and association number 3035 was assigned.
October 16, 2020 - The drawings of the jeu de boules courts have been made and the requests have been sent to the various contractors. There is now some time to work out other and less important matters such as the sign that should come with the accommodation.
September 30, 2020 - Today a first (virtual) meeting took place between the Municipality of 's‑Hertogenbosch and the chairmen of respectively s.v. C.H.C. and Petanque Union Bois le Duc. During this meeting the collaboration between the associations has been discussed. The proposed collaboration was received very enthusiastically by the municipality and is a positive incentive for both associations to further shape their collaboration and to start phase 1 of it. This phase involves the realisation of 10 outdoor courts directly around the association building of s.v. C.H.C.

September 15, 2020 - The sport 'pétanque' is now really on a roll in the Municipality of 's‑Hertogenbosch: we have found an accommodation!!!
One of the oldest football clubs in 's‑Hertogenbosch, - s.v. C.H.C. -, welcomes us to their site situated at the Fuik. After earlier and very constructive consultation between the boards of both associations, the General Members Meeting of s.v. C.H.C. also approved a collaboration.
Both associations are committed to a long-term relationship. The free space at the location of s.v. C.H.C. is big enough for both indoor and outdoor courts. For now, what is called 'Phase 1' in the planning process is being started up: the realization of 10 outdoor courts around the beautiful canteen of s.v. C.H.C.

September 5, 2020 - Notary mr. Thijs Kampschöer has been a loyal sponsor of the Dutch jeu de boules sport for decades. In 2007 he selflessly gave shape to the foundation of P.V. Hatalle (Hedel) and in 2012 he sponsored the foundation of P.V. Vualli (Well, Gld. - disbanded). August 16, 2020 - With the approval of the Internal Regulations by the General Members' Meeting and the obtaining of a RegioBank account, all conditions have been met to register with the NJBB The application form for a NJBB membership has just been sent.

July 7, 2020 - The daily board of Pétanque Union Bois le Duc is complete! Click on 'Board' in the menu at the top of our website to see who will try to put the sport 'pétanque' on the map of 's Hertogenbosch.
July 5, 2020 - With the European championship pétanque coming up, - which will be held on the Parade next to St. John's Cathedral in 2022 -, it is time for an official pétanque union in the city of 's‑Hertogenbosch. In 2016, a start to do so was already made, but this stranded when the intended accommodation at clubhouse ‘t Kikkertje turned out to be unavailable. The plans to set up the union then disappeared in the proverbial ‘refrigerator’.
But now it is time for action: after all, the sport 'pétanque' is high on the local agenda with the European Championship 2022, the momentum is there!
That is why Chairman Antoon van Mil, supported by a new and fresh board (still in composition), is going to invest renewed energy in setting up a full-fledged union including its own accommodation and of course as many members as possible.
